Srijan- the annual cultural extravaganza organized by the Students Council of Shri Shikshayatan College. It endorses ingenuity and inspires the students to take a break from the humdrum schedule of life and unearth one’s concealed talent and interests. The theme this year was “Colossal”, the idea was to celebrate the various hues of life that are fun, entertainment and memories. Rejoice our individuality and experience a high sense of social unity portraying the grandeur of life and instilling a positive attitude. Colossal depicts the various stages of life we go through once the time is ready. These stages are a part of everyone’s journey of life. Colossal is to create awareness which brings us all together and experience and relive our innocence, dreams, fantasies, and childhood.
Like every year our college actively participated in their journey and all the 70 of them managed to participate in all the events and grabbed the awards in most of them and at winning hearts of the judges and the in-house faculties of Shri Shikshayatan College and grabbing the Best College trophy. The representatives from our College Soham Das and Anushree Sanyal said – “we wouldn’t have been able to win the Best College trophy if we didn’t have all the 70 of our Gems. We are just the face, but they are the ones who gave us Victory with their talent, efforts and personality.”
The guest performer of the event was Mr. Rahul Jain, a YouTube sensation who is famous for remaking songs in his genre.
