The Bhawanipur Education Society College has always taken pride in celebrating culture with grandeur and reverence, and Dhamaal 2025 was no exception. On 20th September 2025, the college turf was transformed into a vibrant arena of devotion, music, and joy, as students, faculty, and management came together to honour the divine presence of Maa Ambe and welcome the festive season with open hearts.
This year’s celebration sparkled with a unique theme — “Disco Dandiya”, brought alive through a glittering décor that combined tradition with a touch of modern dazzle. The shimmering lights, vibrant colors, and disco-inspired installations created an atmosphere where heritage met contemporary flair, setting the perfect backdrop for the festivities.
The evening commenced at 5:30 P.M. with the traditional Aarti, offered in unison by the college community. The glow of diyas, the sound of conch shells, and the rhythmic chants created an atmosphere steeped in spirituality, invoking Maa Ambe’s blessings and setting the perfect devotional tone. This spiritual beginning not only signified faith but also highlighted the collective harmony that defines Bhawanipur.
Following the Aarti, the audience was captivated by the Dhunuchi Dance performed by the Flames Eastern Team of the college. A symbol of devotion deeply rooted in Bengali culture, the dance expressed both faith and festivity, filling the atmosphere with energy and reverence. This act of devotion seamlessly bridged cultures, embodying the college’s spirit of inclusivity.
The celebrations then shifted to the pulsating beats of Garba and Dandiya Raas, with dancers dressed in dazzling traditional Gujarati attire. Their synchronized moves and infectious energy invited everyone present to join the circle of rhythm and joy. A special round was hosted for the college management, who were soon joined by students, turning the turf into a sea of swirling colors and uncontainable enthusiasm.
As the night unfolded, an open Dandiya round was announced, inviting students, faculty, and guests alike to take the floor with their dandiya sticks. Each round brought with it laughter, bonding, and boundless energy — truly reflecting the inclusive essence of Navratri. The vibrant dances and spontaneous participation exemplified the college’s ability to bring together people from all walks of life in the spirit of celebration.
The grand finale of the evening arrived with the much-awaited DJ Night, where contemporary beats seamlessly blended with the festive spirit of the occasion. Students danced their hearts out under the open sky, concluding the evening on an electrifying high. The event drew to a close at 8:00 P.M., leaving behind cherished memories of joy, devotion, and togetherness.
