“Watercolor is a swim in the metaphysics of life… a mirror of one’s own character. Let it be unpredictable and colorful”!
The paintings that an artist makes depicts the feelings of the artist towards the subject. They are a way to portray messages through escaping realities and diving into them. A fine artist is the one who makes people imagine what they never thought so, by colors, sketches and paintings. Such is the magic of colors, and by adding fluid, they just make amazing masterpiece. Our college hosted a two-day water colour workshop on the 29th and 30th of May, 2021 under the guidance of Dr. Amaey Parekh, a wonderful artist. The workshop was attended by around 80 students of the college with the help of a scheduled zoom meeting. The workshop explored different ways of waving the brush with watercolors on the paper to make amazing paintings and bookmarks. The students of the college were encouraged to follow their passion during the workshop and were taught amazing techniques that will help them to paint beautifully in the near future. With this the mentor for the workshop, Dr. Parekh ended the two-day workshop making everyone dive-in and follow their passion. The entire workshop was initiated by Prof. Dilip Shah, who encouraged students to follow their passion in arts.
