Annual Picnics are a part of student life. A Student needs rest and entertainment after working hard for many days. Picnics can provide them solace and help them form an escape route from the monotonous schedule of their academic activities.
The department of BBA of The Bhawanipur Education Society College conducted an annual picnic for the first-year students to Ibiza Merlin Greens on the 22nd February,2020.
The buses departed from the college campus at 8:00am and by 9:30am we reached the venue. On reaching, everyone was welcomed by a delicious breakfast provided by the resort. A number of sports activities were played such as basketball, football and cricket by all the students. To beat the heat some of the students even decided to swim while the rest of them enjoyed boating in the lake. The students were excited and shook their legs to the thumping dance numbers played in the disco near the pool, the teachers also joined them.
After a tiring and fun packed morning, all headed for lunch where they relished the food followed by ice cream. The students then played badminton and enjoyed their time in the play area with swings and slides which was followed by a heated game of football played by the boys.
The students along with Director General Prof. Dr.Suman K Mukerjee, teaching and non-teaching members from the department clicked a group picture treasuring this fun-filled event.
The students and the teachers were rejuvenated by tea and snacks provided just before leaving after which everyone boarded the buses for return at 4:00 pm.
