On 5 th May 2016, the Boardroom of the Society witnessed a moment of pride as the prestigious Institute of Company Secretaries of India (a statutory body setup by the Act of parliament) scripted a memorandum of understanding with our college for a period of three years. The two bodies will join in to promote the cause of educational excellence in areas of common pursuit.
A good number of our students are also pursuing ‘Company secretary’ with the institute and hence it will help them as resources can be shared mutually and programmes and events can be jointly organised. This association will enable us to tap into the intellectual base of the institute.
The ceremonial signing was done at in the evening by the President of the ICSI Smt. Mamta Binani and Sri Miraj Shah the Vice Chairman of the College in the presence of an august gathering from both educational establishments.
Present on the occasion were Dr. Sudipto pal (Regional Director EIRC of ICSI), Dr. Tapas Roy (Executive officer), Sri Gautam Duggar (Chairman TEFC) and Sri Siddhartha Murarka (Secretary of EIRS – ICSI).
Some students were also present along with Prof. Divyesh Shah & Prof. Vijay Kothari as well as the undersigned.
