The Department of Business Administration at The Bhawanipur Education Society College successfully organized a seminar titled “Sharpen Your Mind: Unlocking Success for Aspiring Business Leaders” on 30th November at 9:00 AM. The event was held at the Society Hall and attracted an enthusiastic audience, with over 80 students in attendance.
The seminar commenced with the Master of Ceremonies introducing the esteemed speaker, Dr. Dipa Mitra, Associate Professor and Former Head of the M.Phil. & Ph.D. Program at the Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management, Calcutta University. Dr. Mitra, a distinguished academic with 24 years of experience, is a Wharton School Certified PostDoctoral Fellow (Gold), and holds a Ph.D. from Calcutta University, M.Phil. (First Class First), along with dual MBAs and a B.Sc. in Mathematics.
Following the introduction, Professor Dr. Suman Kumar Mukerjee, Director General of the college, delivered the welcome address and chaired the session. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the seminar topic for students aiming to succeed in the dynamic world of business.
Dr. Mitra then took the stage to deliver an insightful session, lasting an hour and a half. During her address, she provided the audience with valuable strategies and techniques aimed at sharpening their minds, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and succeeding in a highly competitive business environment. Her session was both interactive and engaging, leaving the students motivated and inspired.
