The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized a MoU signing ceremony with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) The BESC on 1st November 2023 which was a historic day for the college. CA Vishal Doshi, Chairman Board of Academic Studies (ICAI); CA Sushil Kumar – Member Central Council; CA Debanjan Patra – Chairman EIRC; CA VK Tulsyan – Secretary EIRC & CA Mayur Agarwal – Treasurer EIRC graced the occasion with their presence. The program was inaugurated by the Rector and Dean of Student Affairs Prof. Dilip Shah, TIC along with CA Vishal Doshi, CA Sushil Kumar Goyal, CA Debayan Patra CA Vishnu Kumar Tulsyan, CA Mayur Aggarwal. Dr. Subhabrata Gangopadhyay, Dr. Pinky Saha Sardar, Prof. Saspo Chakraborty, Prof. Meenakshi Chaturvedi were inaugurated by lighting the lamp. TCA Vishal Doshi was honored by college TIC Dr. Subhabrata Gangopadhyay with a memento and a memento. All the special guests were welcomed.
ICAI’s special guest CA Vishal Doshi said that ICAI has been updating the CS syllabus for five years now and are providing all kinds of facilities for the students like online summaries, journals which are available to help the students in preparing for the examination. Throwing light on the current situation in India, CA Sushil Kumar Goyal said that these ten years are very important for the development of India. Students should take advantage of this.
CA Debayan Patra said that finance cannot develop without Commerce graduates & thereby there is more need for commerce students this agreement between ICAI and the BESC will be helpful in providing new direction to the students. Prof. Dilip Shah said in his statement that there are more than eight thousand commerce students in The Bhawanipur Education Society College, and signing of MoU with ICAI will be beneficial for both students and faculty. There are 15 faculty of Commerce who are also CAs in the college. He informed that the MoU holds an important place for career opportunities for students of Commerce and brings an academic institute closer to the professional body i.e. ICAI. He informed that in the coming days, the college will be able to enrich the students with professional skills in various fields of Commerce and also be able to exchange faculties for advancement in education. Overall, both institutions would like to promote excellence in education through such initiatives.
Towards the end, on behalf of the Board of Academic Studies (ICAI) Prof. Dilip Shah, Prof. Minakshi Chaturvedi,Prof. Mohit Shaw, Prof. Vivek Patwari were honored by the institute.
Prof. Minakshi Chaturvedi conducted the program and Prof. Vivek Patwari gave the vote of thanks. On this occasion, college faculty were present in large numbers and the event was followed by lunch.
