The Bhawanipur Education Society College, in collaboration with RED FM 93.5, held a special session of “QUIZ INDIA MOVEMENT” on November 3, 2023, on the college campus where all the cricket enthusiasts of the college actively participated. “QUIZ INDIA MOVEMENT” is a special and unique quiz event, hosted by RED FM 93.5, the largest radio network in this country during this Cricket World Cup season. This all-India radio quiz offered all the cricket fans to explore, participate, and win exclusive cash prizes. The quiz contained 15 questions and a whopping amount of Rs.20,000 for every correct answer given to the fastest answer given by participants, Pan India.
About 30 students from the BESC participated in this quiz, which was hosted by RJ Anup Verma, RJ Anyaman Majumdar and RJ Maitreyee Deb on the campus. With mirth and laughter, the RJs interacted with the students engaged in an enthralling interactive session, and highly encouraged the participants. The quiz commenced at 9:00 am, with RJ Raunac who was hosting it over the radio, where 15 questions were provided, with 4 options each and participants had a minute to answer each question. The adrenaline rush was visible in all the faces with some hurrying to answer quickly while others patiently analyzing and then answering.
Although the competition was very tough, and there were no winners declared from Kolkata, the students took it very sportingly. Their true sportsmanship and love for cricket was witnessed by all as they engaged in fun and frolic with the RJs. An additional Q/A session was conducted by the RJs and PVR vouchers were given away as prizes for every correct answer.
This very engaging session came to an end with a loud applause and a louder cheer. Even though there weren’t any winners among the students, everyone walked with a broad smile on their face with the intention to participate again in the near future.
