Brief description of the event: Autism Awareness Programme in collaboration with India Autism Centre took place on 29th April 2024 from 11.00 a.m. in Room Number 129 A. In this session, the speaker addressed a range of perspectives, promoting inclusivity and familiarising the students with possible internship options and career opportunities related to this area. IAC was represented by a team of five members who addressed different areas associated with disability and Autism. The event was attended by the undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of English. The session was followed by an open house quiz competition, and students who could answer correctly won prizes.
Outcome of the event: The session was conducted successfully and generated spontaneous students’ engagement. It marked the first event after the signing of an MoU between the Department of English and India Autism Centre on 23rd April 2024.
The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized Howzat’15, Teacher Students Cricket tournament on 18th of February 2015 at Vivekananda park( Southern Avenue).
