The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a Street Play at New Market Sim Park Mall on 26th January, 2015 accompanied by Prof. Dilip Shah and Prof. Soumendra Laha. There were a total of three plays by The Bhawanipur Education Society College and Shastri College. The theme of the B.E.S.C’s street play vividly focused on issues like inhuman terrorist activities and peace disruption on religion ground in our society. Shivnath Shastri College presented a play on Women Empowerment.
The students tried to spread a social message towards humanity for humanity.
The points highlighted upon in the Street Play were:
1. Where people remain silent when the crime is done but they do turn up with protests and candle March to show their fake efforts.
2. Where women are raped, even 3 years old girls are victims of rape.
3. Where female feticide is an epidemic.
4. Where we worship Goddess like Saraswati and Durga but molest and disrespect our own girls.
5. Boosting the respect for women in the society in all aspects.
Our Street Play covered all these points and was basically based on women empowerment “NAARI SHOKTI”.
