‘Kolkata quiz’ also called ‘Undivided Bengal’ was another event conducted by Mr. Kaushik Banerjee. The host was Nikunj Kothari and the event was held at Room no. 27.
The event started at 11:20 and continued for the next half an hour. Interesting questions on the history of Kolkata like “Where did the Portuguese have a factory in West Bengal?” and “Who founded Calcutta?” were put forward. Seven colleges participated in the event and each team had two participants. The participants were supposed to write the answers on the sheet of paper provided to them. The results were announced on the spot and five teams qualified to the finals. The finals were held in the NCR, conducted by Mr. Priyadarshi Mitra. Mr. Siddiqui was assisting him with the technical work. The winners were Soumya Halder and Abir Bhattacharya from RCCIIT College with a wide difference in score.
