Objective of the event: To instil curiosity about culinary histories and quiz them on it.
Brief description of the event:
The Department of History organised an inter-departmental quiz entitled ‘Culinary Kaleidoscope’ on May 5th May, 2024. Twenty-five students were segregated into five groups. Students from the departments of English, Political Science, Sociology, Journalism and History participated in the quiz. The quiz comprised of five rounds with the finale Rapid Fire round seeing a furious challenge amongst all the groups. A separate round of audience questions was arranged eliciting enthusiastic participation from the audience. The event continued for one and half year with the winning team awarded with gold plated medals at the very end.
Outcome of the event: The event was a great success in testing students on their culinary knowledge and awareness about history, memory, books and popular culture.
