J.D. Birla College organized its annual management convention – Invictus’16.
The convention turned the spotlight on several emergent management issues, preaching the dos and don’ts of the business world to the hundreds attending.
Following its footsteps came Invictus’16. The managerial-cum-cultural gathering was designed to test the participant holistically.
Events like 60 secs to fame, quiz, t20 auction etc. were centered on traditional management subjects while other events like basketball, NGO event, unconventional orchestra etc. allowed participants to display their hidden talents.
BESC stood first place in Counter strike, unplugged and Boardroom drama. It bagged second place in quiz. Third place was awarded in Marketing, Table tennis, T20 auction, FIFA, Basketball (girls) Iron man, corporate treasure hunt, Non gas cooking and Fashion show.
The Department of Commerce of The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized an event for young and quick-thinking minds, named Mathsketeers. The entire Concept Hall witnessed celebrating the beauty and wonder of mathematics with faculties from B. On 20th October 2016, BESC organised an industrial visit to Skipper Limited, leading manufacturers of PVC pipes. About 40 students of Commerce Plus and YI along with Prof. Vijay Kothari visited the manufacturing unit at Uluberia.
The Crescendo collective of The Bhawanipur Educational College organised a live performance and a workshop for the students called the BAND RECONNECT on December 28, 2021.
