The event which began at 9 A.M. and stretched until 7:30 P.M. showcased the prowess of male and female volleyball enthusiasts from the college. The tournament, held on the college turf, featured six female and fourteen male teams, each composed of four active players and two substitutes.
The tournament was meticulously structured, beginning with a knockout round, followed by three semi-final rounds, and culminating in three final rounds. The initial two rounds of the semi-finals and finals were played to 25 points, while the deciding third round was played to 15 points. Each match, lasting approximately ten minutes, allowed teams to take two brief 30-second time-outs, adhering to the “All India University Sports” rules.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Prof. Dilip Shah, the Rector and Dean of Student Affairs. In a formal ceremony, each team lined up in a row, and Prof. Shah extended a handshake to every participant, symbolizing sportsmanship and camaraderie. The opening ceremony concluded with Prof. Shah delivering the inaugural serve, signaling the official start of the tournament.
The competition kicked off with the female teams taking to the court. The early matches were intense, showcasing the exceptional talent and determination of the participants. The female category saw Team Smack Talkers and Team Warriors emerge as the finalists after a series of hard-fought matches. In a thrilling finale, Team Smack Talkers clinched the victory, leaving Team Warriors as the commendable runners-up.

Team Bihar Police emerged victorious, while Team Dominators, despite their loss, earned the admiration and the moniker “Bawandar Bihari of BESC” for their spirited play and resilience.
The event was organized under the auspices of the BESC Fitness collective, “Power Hour.” The collective’s commitment to promoting fitness and sportsmanship was evident throughout the day-long tournament.
A notable highlight of the event was the perseverance of the players and organizers in the face of unexpected weather conditions. At around 2 P.M., a sudden downpour threatened to disrupt the proceedings. However, the teams and officials showed remarkable determination, continuing the matches despite the rain. The sight of players diving and spiking the ball on the wet court added an extra layer of excitement and drama to the tournament, demonstrating their unwavering spirit and dedication to the sport.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony around 7:30 P.M., where the winners were honoured with gold and silver medals. The joyous moments were captured in photographs, immortalizing the triumphant smiles and celebratory cheers of the participants.
