The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised an interactive session on Podcast and content on November 16, 2023. The workshop was conducted in Society Hall from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Mr. Suyash Agarwal was the Guest speaker of the interactive session, an alumnus of the college, a Producer, and a young media professional at Yuvaa, a youth media organization based in Mumbai. He has worked with top brands in the Industry like Amazon, Netflix, IBM, Tinder, and Dharma, to name a few. He was also the brain and showrunner of Spotify India’s number 1 podcast “Dear Teenage Me” hosted by Ahsaas Channa which bagged Best Podcast of the Year and multiple awards.
The interactive session was attended by around 25 students. The objective of the interactive session was to educate the students about the methodology of starting a podcast of their own. Our guest speaker, Suyash Agarwal started the session by making a reel with the attendants in a trending audio. He presented a PowerPoint presentation explaining the concept of podcasting and content making. The PowerPoint presentation covered various topics that are necessary for content creation. Various subject matters such as content idea, insight, budget for podcasting and content creation, broadcasting platform for audience engagement, etc.
Mr Suyash Agarwal explained the concept of user-generated content and how it helps content creators and podcasters to make new and relatable content based on the audience’s preference. Some of the students asked specific questions about the challenges they face while making content and asked for solutions that can solve their problems. Our guest also talked about his journey and experience of working with various influential people in the content creation industry.
Prof. Dilip Shah, welcomed our speaker, Suyash Agarwal, and thanked us for conducting such a successful interactive session for the students of the college. He felicitated the speaker and asked him to keep up the spirit for holding such sessions in the future. Overall, this session was very beneficial and educative for the aspiring content creators and podcasters of the college.
