The students of the Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC) led by A. Seth pulled off another gigantic event by their sheer managerial abilities and an indomitable will to stand up and be counted where it matters.
They organised all the games for six hundred odd children from the less privileged sections of the society.
The event was organised on the 23 rd of February, 2018 by Kolkata Gives in association with twelve NGO’s working in the field.
As many as 30 students had volunteered to participate and help organise the event.
“We are like a crack team of event managers” said one student who had volunteered “given the sheer variety of and the number of events we have organised in the college – but this one, touched the heart like never before.
The joy that lit up the little faces as they children participated in the various games is stuff that makes life worth it.
It is indeed our good fortune that we went to BESC, an institution that gives one such a variety of chances to seek out one’s true calling, to establish a connect with one’s soul.
