The Department of Computer Science organized this field trip for the students of the Computer Science department. 10 research scholars of Computer Science in the University of Calcutta, Technology Campus showed our students the various laboratory facilities available in the University and demonstrated some of their research work through presentations which are relevant for undergraduate students as well as answered their queries. The students got to know about recent technology used in today’s research as well as current research interest in the area of Computer Science including Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Vision, Network Security, Medical Image Processing, etc. A total of 56 Computer Science students from all the three years visited the University along with 6 teachers in college funded bus. This trip motivated the students to take up the subject for higher studies and pursue research later.
