BBA Onboarding 2022 (Batch 2022-2025)

Transition from formal school life to college can prove to be a complete life changing event. It is undoubtedly the most challenging part of every student’s life, and we all feel anxious and giddy with excitement at the same time. So, to help the students get acquainted and comfortable with college life, the Department of Business Administration of the Bhawanipur Education Society College conducted ON- BOARDING 2023 for the 2023 – 2025 Batch on the 19th of September 2022.

Mehak Bhaiya, Student of 3rd Year, BBA was the emcee of the event. She welcomed the new batch and invited Prof. Dr. Suman K. Mukherjee – Director General of the BBA Department, Prof. Dilip Shah-Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Tridib Sengupta- Coordinator of the BBA Department, Dr. Subhabrata Ganguly- Teacher in Charge, and Inderjit Singh Bhandari Sir to begin the program with the auspicious ceremony of lighting the lamp.

The main event then began with Debargha Banerjee, student, 3rd Year, BBA, singing in his soulful voice and performing the introductory song “Ago Moni.” The song’s lyrics effectively conveyed the emotions, and the impressive performance was enthusiastically applauded by the audience.

After the song, a video was played which highlighted the glorious history of the institute and the vision and mission of this college.

After the video, Dr. Subhabrata Ganguly- Teacher in Charge, was invited was invited to the podium. He encouraged the new batch and welcomed them to their new life at college. After Dr. Ganguly, Prof. Dilip Shah, Dean of student Affairs, was invited on stage and he highlighted the college’s numerous collectives such as FLAMES, CRESCENDO, NCC, FASHIONISTA, MUN, SETU, CII – YUVA, Leadership Training as well as the various life-changing chances which the college offers.

After the Dean, Prof. Dr. Suman K. Mukherjee took to the podium and spoke in length about the different possibilities in life and how they can change our lives if we take full advantage of them. He introduced all the faculty of the BBA Department to the students who then took turns to introduce themselves highlighting their core areas and expertise. They welcomed the new batch with an enthusiastic attitude.

Then the podium was given to Dr. Tridib Sengupta, the BBA Department Coordinator. Sir spoke about the different Discipline Specific Electives in the BBA Department and the endless possibilities of this course.

The event ended with a vote of appreciation by Mahek Bhaiya to everyone who contributed to the event’s success. The volunteer team along with the Convenors of the event, Prof. Paridhi Agarwal and Prof. Chiranjib Mitra did a great job at maintaining the decorum which led to the smooth flow of the event. With this, the Bhawanipur Education Society College’s BBA Department welcomed the Batch of 2021-2024 with great hopes and renewed enthusiasm.
