Orientation of Semester 1

Objective of the event: To apprise the parents/guardians about the academic program offered by the department and the overall environment of the college.
Brief description of the event: The Department of History organised an orientation of students of semester 1 on August 1, 2025 where parents/guardians were invited. The parents were informed about the programs (Major/minor/IDC/SEC) as offered by the department of History. The safety of the college environment and the numerous opportunities offered by the college were highlighted to the parents. The event apprised the parents about the transparent communication channel the college keeps open with the parents in case they have any problem.
Outcome of the event: The parents/guardians were thankful to the Department for this initiative and registered their commendation with positive feedback.
