Objective of the Event: To inculcate development of critical research skills among students
Brief Description of the Event: The book launch, officially started with a brief inaugural speech presented by TIC Dr Subhabrata Ganguly. This was followed by a speech delivered by HoD Professor Piu Chatterjee. Professors Piu Chatterjee, Debjani Ganguly and Anindya Sen, commented how the book originated out of student paper presentations from the Annual Student Seminar conducted in 2024, on the theme Decolonisation and Secessionism in the 20th century world. After the brief speech, the book was officially launched by the IQAC Coordinator and senior professors from the Arts Department. Professors Debjani Ganguly and Piu Chatterjee encouraged the students’ for their contributions. Professor Devina Gupta spoke about her experience as the Faculty Advisor Editor. The event came to a formal end with a vote of thanks delivered by students and refreshments being served.
Outcome of the event: The event was a success and concluded with the student editors sharing their experience as young editors in front of their guardians.
