Proper hydration is a fundamental aspect of a child’s overall health and well-being. In a school setting, where children spend a significant portion of their day, ensuring access to and promoting the importance of drinking water is crucial.
The Extension & Outreach Committee of Department of Commerce (Afternoon & Evening Section) organised a Water Purifier Installation Programme on February 27,2023 at Kamakhya Balakashram Secondary School. The Ashram runs a school and during our visit we found that no purified water is available for the students. Students and faculty members visited and supervised the entire installation.
We thank the management of college, Prof. Saspo Chakraborty Vice Principal (Afternoon & Evening Section) and Prof. Atreyee Ganguly (Coordinator- Afternoon & Evening Section) for their constant support to conduct the entire project without any hassle. We also thank all the faculty members who came forward for this noble cause.
The Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC) signed a memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). About 200 students participated in the workshop which included about 100 students from Commerce Plus diploma course.
