They say the true measure of education is not “what” you know but “how you share with others” what you know. One of the key philosophies that the Student Share Skills collective stands by at The Bhawanipur Education Society College is acknowledging the art of sharing skills. On the 12th of December 2023 in the Jubilee Hall of the college campus, a Share Skill Felicitation ceremony was organized from 10:30 am onwards. The ceremony was held to empower all those students who had contributed to teaching and learning different skills from their peers within a holistic environment. The ceremony kickstarted with the audience being shown a video which included snippets of all those skills that the students worked around including Photography, Chess, Boxing, Mono Act, Instrumental Music, Hip Hop, Garba and Dandiya, Excel, and Fashion Walk. The video was a gist of how empowering the classes were reflecting the sheer love for collaboration. Next, the Rector & Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah addressed the audience and shared his thoughts on just how important developing skills is, also emphasizing the fact that all the best things in life are free of cost and so is this venture.
He also shared his love for learning and developing new skills which motivated the audience to move out of their comfort zones. The event proceeded with the students showcasing the skills they acquired through the classes, and it was nothing but a true delight for the audience. The fashion share skill team presented a sequence that was so mesmerizing that the audience couldn’t help but enthusiastically applaud. Further, mono acts were presented by Deep Kandoi and Nikhil Jaiswal respectively which left everyone in the room with goosebumps and chills. The stage was set in a vibrant and energetic tone with the tunes of garba as the students danced gracefully on Gujarati beats. Devang Nagar and his student-learner, Tushar Gupta performed a soulful rendition of the song, “All of Me” that captivated the audience to the core.
