TEC, The Esports Club, a platform with the aim of powering Esports experiences came to the college campus for an event TEC Campus Connect. The main aim of this event was to connect the college community to E-Sport experiences. To give the students an immersive experience of FIFA Football developed by Electronic Arts, the college organized a mobile gaming experience at the College Canteen itself.
The event saw a footfall of more than 80 students who were thrilled at the thought of a FIFA football game. The first part of the event saw a quiz in two rounds where the participants were questioned on some interesting facts about football as a game. The winners of the quiz received food coupons which were redeemable in the Snack Corner of the Canteen. In the second phase another enjoyable activity “Would You Rather” was hosted by the anchor, Vaishnavi Singh Sooryavanshi. While the rest of the audience was playing games on their respective smartphones and competing with their partners. The event saw a mix of gaming & fun activities.
At the end of the event, the students enjoyed the gaming as well as the refreshments offered. In all, it was an immersive experience at the college for students who played the game as well as those volunteers who learned about hosting an online gaming session.
The college organised a webinar “Budget Briefings: Discussion on the Union Budget”. The session was conducted by Sarvesh Mundra. He gave all the students brief impression on the budget.
