The students of The Bhawanipur Education Society College attended a seminar on Cyber Crime organized by the Bhawanipur Prayas Sports & Cultural Society along with Kolkata Police. The students were accompanied by Prof. Vijay Kothari as they went to visit the Bhawanipur Utsab at D.N Mitra Square on 6th February 2015.
The seminar started with the illuminating speech by the chairman by Shri Satchidanand Banerjee followed by the speech on cyber hacking by Kolkata Police officers.
Details regarding protecting our computers from being hacked, the ways in which hacking can be done and how can we minimize our risks to become a cyber hacking victim were explained.
The seminar gradually became an interactive session when the problems of the public on hacking were answered by the Cyber Hacking team of Lal Bazar
After these there was a dog show organized by the Kolkata Police and which gave an ending note to the Seminar.
