Professor Dilip Shah, Dean of Student affairs of the Bhawanipur Education Society College formally declared the games open as 88 participants who had toiled to reach the finals stood in rapt attention, their minds and calculators in sync on the 4th of September’17.
Prof Ankit Batwara and Prof Divyesh Shah, Head of Department of the B.Com (Morning Section) pointed out the accounting legacy of the institution and hailed the enthusiasm of the participants along with their words of encouragement and advice.
The event was spread over a marathon ten rounds with every alternative round eliminating a-la Darwin. The most exciting was the round in which visual cues were used with unanswered questions being thrown to the audience. The system of awarding bonus points to groups providing correct answers to questions unanswered by others also added a competitive dimension which went on to make the proceedings even more exciting.
Prof Vivek patwari and Prof Ujjwal Kakkad also took active part in the organisation of this one of its kind event.
