On the 16th of August 2023 this session called YUVA, a 3rd generation research event by Young Indians with a motto to delve deeper into a rich pool of futuristic ideas that will be beneficial in developing the nation, was held at the college.
The session began at 10 A.M at Jubilee Hall and was later divided into 5 different venues. Mr.Himansu Fogla from Young India welcomed the students as the main host for the event & thereafter introduced his colleagues to their respective topics for mentoring. The guest speakers for the day were Ms. Muskan Agarwal (Mentor for Future of Education), Ms. Shweta Agarwal (Mentor for Future of Lifestyle for Sustainability), Ms. Dishita Choudhary (Mentor for Future of Digital economy), Mr. Naman Shah (Mentor for Future of Manufacturing Technology), Mr. Baibhav Agarwal (Mentor for Future of Agri tech) who then individually mentored the participating students.
After a brief introductory session, the 50 participating students from several colleges were then divided into 5 groups led by 5 respective mentors. All 5 groups were provided with 5 different locations called breakout rooms, namely Society Hall, Jubilee Hall, and 3 other classrooms. Here, the students could discuss and develop their individual ideas on the respective topics after their mentors introduced them to them. The students were taught how to research further on these individual areas like Education, Lifestyle for sustainability, Digital Economy, Manufacturing Technology & Agritech. In the end, students were asked to present their own research report in pairs or individually. The mentors gave their suggestions to students and evolved with the insights given by the mentors.
The event ended at 1:30 PM with the students leaving their venues satisfied that they had made the most of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The BESC aspires to organize such holistic events in the future to help grow the skills of its students.
