In today’s corporate world ‘Excel’ has become a necessity, but then most of us have a very limited knowledge about this powerhouse software. Our college ensured that each one of us should be in a position to use Excel effectively, as per the requirements of the corporate sector. The workshop was conducted by CA Rishabh Pugalia, the founder of ExcelNext (Mumbai).
The workshop started with an inspiring speech delivered by Prof. Dilip Shah, followed by the most exhaustive session of advanced Excel. Our learnings from the session were not limited to the basics of Excel but also included the following:
Replacing and rectifying all error cells.
To prepare pie charts and bar graphs.
Shortcuts to do multiple tasks.
The students were privileged to learn from a trainer who excels in his field. Rishabh Sir ensured that the queries of each and every student were answered. He not only instilled in us the importance of excel but also made sure that we can practically enhance our knowledge by giving us free access to the software of advanced Excel for a year. The students appreciated the efforts of the college for always making sure that we excel in everything.
‘Kolkata quiz’ also called ‘Undivided Bengal’ was another event conducted by Mr. Kaushik Banerjee. The host was Nikunj Kothari and the event was held at Room no. 27.
News 24×7 was a workshop held at The Bhawanipur Education Society College on October 5, 2015, conducted by Mr. Chawm Ganguly. The main objective the workshop was to know the Who.
