Prof. Dilip Shah, the Dean of Students Affairs declared the session open at the college library where student’s gathered in huge numbers. The chief guest of the event was Prof. Banoo, who took us back to the memory lane from Ghalib’s birth to his works and his famous couplets which he had penned down beautifully, making all of us usher ‘wah-wah!!’.
All together it was an enjoyable Shero-Shayari session, With glimpses on Ghalib’s ghazal and life and initiative by Prof. Mohit. Hathoon key lakiroon pay matt jaa ae Ghalib, Naseeb unkay bhi hotay hain jinkaay haath nahi hotay.
The College’s collective Vox Populi organised a debate session for the newbies! The students were given the topic “I was born intelligent, education made me a fool.” The present system of education somehow hinders students to think beyond the facts. As India celebrates its 66th Republic Day we at The Bhawanipur Education Society College proudly present homage to our motherland by organizing an programme in the college premises on 26th January, 2015 from 9 am to 10.30 pm.
Raas or Dandiya Raas is the traditional folk dance form of Gujarat, originated in Vrindavan by Lord Krishna, where it is performed depicting scenes of Holi, and Leela of Krishna and Radha. Along with Garba, it is the featured dance of Navaratri evenings in Western India.
