Objective of the event: To provide immediate hydration support to pedestrians during extreme summer heat.
Brief description of the event: The “Thirst Aid” campaign was conducted on four separate days across May and June 2025. On 20th May, the first day of the initiative, 350 glasses of nimboo pani were served to grateful pedestrians braving the heat. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, the volunteers continued their efforts on 24th May, distributing 300 glasses with equal care. On the third day, 4th June, the team served 340 glasses, maintaining the same enthusiasm and hygiene standards. On 10th June, volunteers once again distributed 350 glasses with unwavering energy and dedication. Throughout the event, volunteers stood in high temperatures to serve refreshing drinks with kindness, commitment, and attention to public hygiene. Passersby received the drinks with gratitude, often pausing to express their appreciation.
Outcome of the event: The campaign successfully provided relief to hundreds of people and raised awareness about the importance of hydration during hot weather. It also fostered empathy and responsibility among the volunteers, strengthening their values of service and teamwork.
The Indian soil is gifted with singers who have had attained legendary fame in their milieu and afield. We wish to hear them forever.
