The Bhawanipur Education Society College held its annual Bhawanipur Badminton Championship (BBC) on 31st October 2025 at 10:00 AM on the college turf.
The event began with a short yet inspiring introduction by the Rector and Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah, who welcomed all the players and motivated them to uphold the true spirit of sportsmanship. Following him, Vice Principal, Department of Commerce (Morning), Prof. Minakshi Chaturvedi, addressed the gathering and wished good luck to all the participants.
A group photograph was then taken with all the players, marking the official beginning of the championship. Soon after, Sports Officer Mr. Rupesh Gandhi took to the stage to explain the fixtures and rules of the tournament. He carefully outlined the match format and reminded participants of the importance of fair play and respect.
This year’s championship saw an overwhelming response, with 44 boys and 15 girls participating. Equally commendable was the support from fellow students who gathered around the turf to cheer for their friends. As the matches progressed, the competition grew more intense, with each player demonstrating great focus and admirable sportsmanship.
The Bhawanipur Badminton Championship 2025 concluded at 6:00 PM. The event not only brought together talented players from the college but also highlighted the importance of fitness, fair play, and community spirit.
The winner and runner-up were rightfully recognised and awarded, with Aditya Jain (Semester III) securing the position of first runner-up and Ishaan Aryan (Semester V) emerging as the champion.
Overall, the championship was a smashing success, showcasing tremendous determination, coordination, and enthusiasm among all participants.
