B.Com. / B.A. / B.Sc. / BBA Semester I students (admitted in session 2025–26) are hereby informed that their Subject Selection Process along with the Calcutta University Registration process shall be conducted as per the tentative schedule given below.
Subject Selection is mandatory for all B.Com. / B.A. / B.Sc. students and must be completed before proceeding with the Calcutta University Registration. For successful completion of your Calcutta University Registration, it is essential to complete all the steps outlined below.
Tentative Schedule For Subject Selection & Calcutta University Registration Process:
A. Online Process For Subject Selection (applicable Only For B.Com./B.A./B.Sc.) – Tentatively from Monday, 13/10/2025 (detailed notice shall be published on the same date)
B. Calcutta University Registration Online Data Submission Process (Part I) – Tentatively from Monday, 27/10/2025 (detailed notice shall be published on the same date)
C. Calcutta University Registration Physical Data Sheet Submission (Part II – at College Campus) – Click Here to Check Tentative Schedule (provide with your 10-digit UID to check your schedule) (detailed schedule shall be published on 28/10/2025 by 02:00 pm)
Students are advised to keep the following documents handy as it will be required while doing the Calcutta University Registration process:
1. One photocopy of Class XII Board Original Marksheet.Please note that the Internet or Digilocker copy of your class XII board marksheet willNOT BE ACCEPTEDby Calcutta University for the registration process.
2. One photocopy of the Original Class X Board Admit Card / Birth Certificate issued by the Government.
3. Original Class XII Board Migration Certificate. This document is mandatory for students to submit at the college with the registration data sheet. This document is NOT APPLICABLE forCBSE/ ISC/ WBCHSE/ NIOSBoard.
4. One photocopy of Student’s AADHAR Card (Mandatory for Indian Citizens only).
5. One photocopy of Student’s ABC Card (Mandatory for Indian Citizens only)
6. One photocopy of the Caste (SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B) certificate issued by Government of West Bengal.(Required only if applied under SC/ ST/ OBC category).
7. One photocopy of Calcutta University RegistrationCertificate(only applicable to the students registered with University of Calcutta in the year 2024 or before).
8. One photocopy of the Person with Disability Certificate(Required only if applied under the Physically Handicapped category).
9. One photocopy of EWS Certificate (Economically Weaker Section) issued by Government of West Bengal.(Required only if applied under EWS category).
10. Govt. issued photo ID Card of either of the parent’s.

a) The Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) will be a mandatory requirement for the Calcutta University registration form. If you have not created your APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) ID yet. Important links regarding the same are given below.
b) It is mandatory for the students to access their Institutional Email ID provided by the college as all important information will be sent from college to your Institutional Email ID only. You can check the below mentioned link in case if you have not accessed the same yet.
The Admission Procedure is incomplete without doing the Calcutta University Registration Process. If you do not complete Calcutta University registration process, you will not be able to appear for any examinations under Calcutta University.
