The Teacher’s Day celebration held on 5th September, 2019 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Jubilee Hall was staggering delight for all the educators, a day to rejoice in the unwavering spirit and dedication to teach and art of speaking knowledge.
As we know, “ Education is the ability to listen to anything without losing your temper of self-confidence- Robert Frost”. Therefore, this day is an acknowledgment for the devotion of our teachers and their hands at crafting our future just like connoisseur creating art. The commencement of the event began with the motivating speech by, Prof.Dilip Shah.He emphasized the need to listen to our innermost recesses, the conscience, for it is the greatest teacher. Further he appreciated the effort of the teachers who had books published in recent times. He propagated the idea of spreading education through the motive -” Each one, Teach one”.
The hall was flooded with students enthusiastic cheers as various collectives like Flames, Crescendo and Enact gave their performances dedicated to the teachers. Amidst all the music and dancing, the celebration rejoiced in the glory of learning where teachers were felicitated for their contribution.
The event ended with a “fun-for-all” where the students and teachers grooved together to the music. The theme of the event was learning through osmosis which is conceptual theory of mutual learning where both the teacher as well as the student exchange their knowledge for greater enrichment.
