Objective of the event: The objective of an Academic quiz is to create a stimulating and educational experience that tests participant’s knowledge, promotes learning, fosters critical thinking, and cultivates a passion for academic pursuits.
Brief description of the event: The Department of Political Science conducted an Academic Quiz-2 for the Semester I Political Science Major students on 4th December, 2025. The students were divided into 5 groups and questions were asked based on their syllabus. The proceedings of the quiz were conducted by Dr. Debanjana Chakravarti, Associate Professor and Trisha Chatterjee, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science. Trisha Chatterjee explained the parameters of the quiz on which the groups would be judged and awarded scores.
The winning group of the event is Group C.
Outcome of the event: The students’ responses were quite positive and they showed keen interest and enthusiastically participated in the event.
