An industrial visit was organised for B.Com Semester III students (A1 and A2) on 14th September 2019.There was overwhelming response from the students. Around 50 students were taken to the industrial site at Kamduni, Rajarhat by five faculty members. There was an interactive programme by virtue of which the knowledge of the students was enriched. They were enlightened about various issues associated with import and export of sea-food products. They got an opportunity to see the entire manufacturing process right from procurement of raw materials to the despatch of goods for export. They also gathered a fair idea about pisciculture and the significance of quality standards to reach out to the global market.
