The college organized a picnic at Ibiza Fern Resort to provide students and faculty with a day of relaxation, fun, and team building. About 200 students were accompanied by 14 faculties. The journey took off from the college premises in 4 buses with students carrying their sports gear, music systems & a big smile on their faces to be destined for a 1.5-hour long journey. The journey was filled with singing and dancing, creating a lively atmosphere. Upon arrival, participants were greeted by the tranquil surroundings of the resort.
The resort offered a variety of activities, catering to diverse interests. From adventurous pursuits like zip-lining, boating, and cycling to more relaxed options such as chess, table tennis, and carrom, participants had a range of choices for engagement. As noon approached, the resort’s discotheque became the focal point of entertainment. Students showcased their dance moves, transforming the venue into a vibrant space. The dance session continued until lunchtime, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the day.
Post-lunch, a spirited game of musical chairs was organized, injecting further energy into the gathering. The day concluded with a tea and snacks session at 4:00 pm, providing a perfect ending to the day-long extravaganza. The return journey in the evening served as an extension of the day’s festivities. Students and faculty utilized the time to renew friendships and build connections. The buses reached the college premises by 5:30 pm, marking the conclusion of a successful and joyous picnic.
