On 03rd April’22, 59 students from various departments of our college along with two faculty members Prof. Harshit Chokhani, who coordinated the event and Prof. Dushyant Chaturvedi departed from college in a bus around 2:20pm and participated in the Leadership Session and Book Launch ceremony by Dr. Kiran Bedi, first woman IPS officer of the country who needs no introduction after having changed the conditions of Prisons and Jails by making it better and also by leaving her mark at several other posts which she held with dignity by having a tough attitude with no compromise on fringe elements keeping the mother heart alive within her. She recently completed her term as Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry where she introduced certain great tasks as Open House in Raj Niwas where general public can come at a scheduled slot on mentioned dates and interact with her directly and submit grievances. She spoke on other leadership qualities of being firm and confident and to work with anybody rather than being under somebody.
One of our student, also got a chance to ask her a question, post which we got a chance to take a group picture with her wherein she even signed her new book “Fearless Governance” for some of our students.
The event was organised by Rotary International in collaboration with Rota Talks and our college The Bhawanipur Education Society College was the Education Partner. All of us returned to college by 7:00pm with a fruitful learning and a fun led experience.
