On 10th March, The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a language proficiency event for be-ites. The session began around 10:30 am. Priyamvada Agarwal, Manish Goyal and Sayantan Ghoshal came as the chief guest who were the in-charge at the prestigious institutions for IELTS and TOEFL preparation respectively. The event was divided into two slots 10:30am-1pm and 2pm-4:30pm.
The speakers explained the structure of the courses and the institutions that are connected to the prestigious Cambridge University. The students were asked to take several MCQ tests on the day of the event.
There were various interactive sessions on varied scopes where students can apply for. TOEFL and IELTS let’s students experiment on their career and gives a clear vision on how to invest for the courses they prefer.
There was also a fun quiz competition conducted to test students’ intelligence. It was an informative and an interactive session. The students look forward to more such sessions in the future.

Colloquium, conceived by the Arts Section of the college as a multi-disciplinary, multi-lingual journal, seeks to publish scholarly articles on cross-cutting issues, viewed from the perspective of the liberal arts. It is a maiden attempt in the history of the college to bring out a peer reviewed annual journal, bearing an ISSN number.
