INDUSTRY VISIT TO CENTURY PLY.

The students of Semester I of the Evening section were taken to Century Ply on 11^th of February 2023. 46 students from the Evening section along with 4 faculty members from the department went for the industrial visit to Century Ply factory situated at Bhasa, Joka. There the students got to know about their production planning, process, execution, and work culture. The students were oriented about the various types of products like Century Plywood, Century Laminates, Century Veneers, etc., The students were given a first-hand experience about the different products manufactured by the company along with their production process, packaging, labelling, promotions, advertising, transportation, and sales. The visit was quite interactive and informative. It was an enthralling experience for the students as it will help them to get a foothold in the corporate world. The visit ended with a Question – Answer session where all kinds of doubts of the students were duly answered by the company representatives. A token of appreciation in the form of a Memento was presented from The Bhawanipur Education Society College to the company’s supply chain manager, Mr. Anirban Sanyal.
