Visit to the factory Nimpith Leather located in Joyanagar which is around 54km away from our college was held on the 10th of October 2015. In total 19 students were accompanied by Prof. Gautam.
The students took a pit stop to Ramakrishna Ashram from there they headed to the different places in Nimpith such as Sarada Vivekanand Girls High School where the temple of Lord Ramakrishna is situated; they also visited Vivekanand Institute of Biotechnology. Finally the students set out to the leather factory and watched the process of making different products of leather such as office bag, belt, ladies bag, purse, etc. The students had a knowledge sharing session with the sales management discussing pricing facility, turnover, etc. answering queries of the students and explaining them in detail the processes.
The Bengali Department in conjunction with IQAC conducted an Intra College Bi-lingual debate on 24th September, 2022, Saturday. The motion was, “This house believes that the education policy which enables a student to pursue multiple degrees at the same time moves them away from the core curriculum.” 20 speakers took part in the Oxford style …
The BES College celebrated Teacher’s Day on 4th September, at the 6th Floor Auditorium, with great pomp and revelry. The programme was organized in three slots- Morning, Afternoon & Evening faculty members.
As the program started, Mr. Manshukhani (Guest speaker, Capacity Building Trainer) addressed the audience with his introductory speech on his professional experiences. He spoke about the steps involved in making a successful business Plan.
