A seminar was organised on 29th August at 6th floor, Concept Hall to enlighten students on the Secrets of Preparation, Suggestions & Achieving Success in B.com. This seminar was attended by over 300 students. The student co-ordinator of this seminar was Vinay Gupta.
The event was valued too highly with the presence of many eminent and experienced faculties from Department of Commerce – Dr.DebashisMazumdar (Former Associate Professor of Economics,Bangabasi College);Prof.ShubhayanBasu ( M.com,M.Phil. ,Associate member of Cost And Chartered Accountancy, Associate Professor and HOD of Accountancy at Anand Mohan College and Visiting Faculty of Calcutta University and St. Xavier’s College Post Graduate Department);Dr. Priyotosh Khan (Former Principal at P.P Poddar Institute of Management and Technology); Sarada Prasad Datta (HOD of Commerce ,Gour Mohan Sachin MandalMahavidyalaya) and Prof Dilip Shah from our college.
The seminar not only inculcated a deep insight to the semesters and curriculum but also furnished a bird’s eye view to the students about the methodology of study and the skills that they need to incorporate to secure good grades in the Examinations. The experience of the speakers provided the students a new perspective with which they would excel. The main motto of the event was to encourage the students to pay heed to their undergraduate syllabus as,“A strong base supports the tower of success.” Hard work, dedication and determination were cited as the three mantras for excellence.
