BESC is a college where every classroom is wired for smartness, where Power Point presentations are the norm, as opposed to being the exception and where the students are more tech savvy than, well forget it. The point that needs to be underscored is that in a campus like this, to WOW about 200 students with a presentation, needs skills of an extraordinarily high caliber, that too, through an interactive quiz. Prof Stuti Vershney did just that on the 6th of September 2017.
Kaun Banega Crorepati, down to the tune that had had India hooked, with matching images and a format that replicated the AB starrer all the way, was played out – even as Prof Vivek Patwari and Prof Stuti Varshney took the participants through a quiz to improve the basic knowledge of students and give them an idea of questions pattern. The quiz was much like KBC as the students were asked questions and were given 4 options. They were even offered lifelines a-la the KBC.
Disruptive Innovation, anyone?
Pro Dilip Shah, the Dean of Student Affairs, who initiated the proceedings was obviously happy and congratulated the participants and the creators for their efforts.
