The Morning Department Faculties assembled on the morning of 18th March for their Annual Picnic, a little apprehensive about the weather and the journey. After enjoying an extremely joyous bus ride, they were welcomed at the lush green Breathing Earth Resorts by a fresh spell of shower. The rustic setting of the serene resorts stole away the hearts of the picnickers at the very first sight.
After the mouth-watering breakfast buffet, the faculties got immersed in the outdoor activities.
Some splashed into the pool, some took boat rides, and a few played badminton and chess. The most adventurous lot of course kept themselves busy in either a photo shoot or stealing a nap in the air-conditioned cottage. The lunch was sumptuous and followed by a heartening game of Housie.
After another round of outdoor activities, the faculty members enjoyed the evening tea on the lawn and got ready to board the return bus with a heavy heart, planning for the next such relaxing break. About 28 members of the faculty of the Commerce Morning Department attended the picnic.
