A jugalbandi or jugalbandhi is a performance in Indian classical music, especially the Hindustani classical music that features a duet of two solo musicians. The word jugalbandi means, literally, “Entwined twins.”

The Street Play was held in the lawn in front of the Common Room.  It was judged by Abhishek Bannerjee and Janardhan Ghosh. A total of five team had participated and each team consisted of eight to ten members.  The topic allotted to them was Rape and accordingly the teams carried out their performances.

Antakshari is a spoken parlour game played in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal. Each contestant sings the first verse of a song that begins with the Hindustani consonant on which the previous contestant’s song ends. ‘Kolkata quiz’ also called ‘Undivided Bengal’ was another event conducted by Mr. Kaushik Banerjee. The host was Nikunj Kothari and the event was held at Room no. 27.
