All the stalls at Career Cafè were set to open up at 10:00 A.M. and close down at 5:00 P.M. after a busy day on both days.
Career Cafè 2024 was officially declared open through an Inaugural Ceremony on the 3rd of October at 10:00 A.M. where the Rector and Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah were present along with Prof. Minakshi Chaturvedi, Coordinator of the Department of Commerce (Morning) and representatives from all the 20 institutions. Prof. Shah opened the gate towards the road to success and announced the beginning of the 2-day fair as he also unwrapped its theme “Learn to Lead” per his suggestions. Since its inauguration, a throbbing crowd of approximately 1200 visited the fair over 2 days which consisted of students from other colleges, Schools, and BESC. Beginning at noon and ending at 4:00 P.M. in the Society Hall on both Day 1 and Day 2, 18 institutions used this time to display a glimpse of their offered courses to interested students via PPT presentations. Only 2 institutions with similar domains were grouped and given 40 minutes to complete their presentations.
Alliance University from Bangalore also participated in the fair, adding to the event’s prestige. Food stalls offering snowcones, tea, chaat, and other delectables were also available, making the experience enjoyable for all attendees. Once again, Career Cafè gained tens across the board as it delivered buckets of information to students and options for their future careers. Attendees had a unique opportunity to interact with industry leaders and academic experts to understand various aspects of their chosen career paths, helping them make better decisions.
