The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a Badminton tournament from 23rd to 25th February, 2022 for all the college students.
The tournament commenced on the 23rd of February 2022 at 8 AM at the College Turf with 64 single male matches and 36 single female matches. Each game averaged for 10 minutes and 11 pointers.
The winners of each match then had a doubles match in 3 sets of 7 pointers and after a tremendous battle, we had 8 finalists.
On 25th February, the finals took place at around 5:30 P.M. It was presided by Prof. Dilip Shah – Dean of Student Affairs and the winners were rewarded with medals for their outstanding athletic skills. The winners for the category’s male singles, female singles and male doubles were Jay Malvania, Ishika Singhi, and Amanur Rub and Biswajit Chauhan respectively.
It was an enthralling and refreshing experience for the students and they learnt some invaluable life lessons that Sports teach us like, having the right attitude, preparation, perseverance building character, mental strength, team spirit, and many more and like they say, getting better never stops!

On 7th * 8th September 2015, The Department of Games and Sports, conducted an Intra College Single’s Badminton Tournament at Y.M.C.A. (Chowringhee Branch) Kolkata. 263 boys and 97 girls participated in the tournament. The Tournament was held on knockout basis and was also the selection’s for the College Badminton Team 2015-16.
