In today’s era, E-sports has taken the world by storm. As a new, digitalised form of sports, not only does E-sport provide a means of entertainment both to the players and the audience, but it has also influenced the young generation to pursue a unique branch of career. One also requires skill and practice to excel in it just like every other sport.
Viewing the growing craze for E-sports, The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) competition on the 13th of May 2022 from 11:00 am. There was an on-spot registration, where the enthusiastic players readily registered themselves. The players had to play in a group of four (a squad) and their motto was common- to win. The event was organised by Mr. Samarth Kumar, Vedic Saha, and their team.
The game started off in 3 rounds. 65 teams registered in total, out of which 80 players (20 teams) would be having their battle in the first round, 88 players (22 teams) in the second round, and 48 players (12 teams) in the third round. From these 3 rounds, the top 10 were selected from the first and second rounds each and 5 teams were selected from the third round. Followed by this, the selected players (25 teams) competed in the finals.
