Capital markets consist of the primary market, where new securities are issued and sold, and the secondary market, where already-issued securities are traded between investors.
Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a workshop on the said topic from 11th September to 13th September, 2019 from 10:30 to 12:30 in the Society Hall. The main speakers of this session are Mr Chetan Panchamiya, Mr Abhishek Dubey and Suchi Rungta. Mr Chetan Panchamiya is a youtuber of the MarketShala Series as well as a mentor. Mr Abhishek Dubey is a fundamental analyst and also a mentor who suggests which stocks to buy. Suchi Rungta is a full time trader and also a mentor from the past 15 years.
This interactive session basically focussed on Overview of economy & trading Analysis, Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis. During these three days all the speakers covered the following points:
Why fundamental analysis is an asset in the bear market and liability in the bull market
Warren Buffet’s 4 filter approach
Financial Reporting Analysis and The Financial Ratios
Sunrise and Sunset industry
Where can we find challenges and great opportunities
Technical Analysis is only based on timings and “Trends will be your friend, till the end, until it bends”
How price discounts itself from the top bottom to bottom low
Top down analysis and Bottom up analysis.
These 3 days had witnessed around 60-65 students. The hall being full and students eager to acquire knowledge was a sight to cherish for. A quote mentioned by Mr Chetan after being dearly felicitated by Prof Dilip Shah, Dean of Student Affairs, penetrated the insights of the students. The quote said:
“You are what your deep driving desire is/ As your desire is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed/ As your deed is so is your destiny.”
Students seemed to be really enthusiastic for such interactive sessions and BESC hopes to organise such sessions more often.
