The Department of Bengali organized a student seminar in Bengali Language on 3rd December, Saturday at 1.30 pm. A total of 9 General and AECC students in the first semester participated in the seminar. The seminar was judged by Miss Alivia Basu, Research Scholar, Jadavpur University. The first position was won by Rajasree Mandal who spoke about Audiobooks and famous Sunday suspense, the second position was won by Ritwika who told us about the philosophies of Buddhism and thoughts of Dalai Lama and the third position was secured by Iemon Sarkar, who spoke about the various detectives of Bengali literature. All the other students also spoke about various topics and there was a discussion of ideas involving the topics. The seminar was a huge success with all 9 students and the teachers of the Department of Bengali.
