Medical emergencies come unannounced. Life without good health is like an army without soldiers and chocolate without cocoa. Health is important to live life to the fullest. The NSS unit of The Bhawanipur Education Society College initiated an awareness program regarding common health issues followed by a BMI and Eye Check-Up Camp in collaboration with the Lions Club of Calcutta Midtown along with Leo Club of Kolkata Midtown Glory and Leo Club of Kolkata Midtown Millennials at The Bhawanipur Education Society College Campus on 9th November 2022.
It allowed all the students, teachers, and non-teaching staff members to get a free eye check-up from excellent medical professionals in Kolkata. The awareness program was helpful to spread awareness regarding the prevention of serious diseases like diabetes, obesity, etc. Thus, managing your health conditions, and understanding your medications all contribute to an increased quality of life. The event witnessed the presence of the President of Lions of Calcutta Midtown, Lion Indrani Choudhary, and the Past President of Lions Calcutta Midtown, Pushpa Bengani, along with the members of the club.
The event could not be a success without the unwavering support of the associates, audience, and the student coordinator of the event, Kripa Sahal’s contribution to handling all the concerned deliverables efficiently.
