Objective of the activity: Industry-Academia Interface
Brief Description of the Activity
The students from Semester II of B.Com along with 6 faculty members left for a Plant visit to Rollick Ice Cream factory on June 12, 2024. Industrial trip was organised to make our students thorough with production, storage, distribution etc.
This visit was an opportunity for the students to learn about all the different varieties of ice cream that they produced there like stick, cone, tubs, cup, block ice cream etc They took an entire tour across the production line, from the freezing room to packaging rooms, it was a great addition to their direct experience and understanding.
The students were familiarized with the product range of the company, technology of production, labeling, packaging, promotions, advertising as well as transportation and sales.
Additionally, they were introduced to the company’s new brand fragola, that were launched in the year 2020. The visit was very interactive and informative as the students received practical knowledge aligned with industry practices. This exposure will be beneficial and equip them for the practical job world.
The Bhawanipur Education Society College witnessed an empowering event on the 25th of August, 2023 with the felicitation ceremony of Students Share Skill. The event was conducted in Jubilee Hall from 2:00 p.m. onwards.
